This project started with the need to have a small floating desk at counter height. It was custom made to fit a very specific space adjacent to the kitchen. The top was made using a single wide plank of rustic oak. Two drawers below provide plenty of space to hide the usual surface clutter. It is mounted to the back and side walls for a leg free floating look. The matching shelves above allow for plenty of additional storage space.
